Facing Fear Project
Oil pastel, Water color on paper +Digital finish
The grilled fish, which often appeared on the dinner table, seemed to stare at me every time. I don’t know if the fear of the fish was caused by the fear of those eyes. I was scared of fish, so I couldn’t even scuba dive or swim in the sea that I wanted to do for a long time. Then one day, thinking that I wanted to get out of this fear a little, I started drawing facing fear. To break the trauma, there is a saying to face fear and get used to it. I don’t know how many fish I did eye contact while doing this. By the time the fish got used to it little by little, beautiful patterns and colors began to appear, and I started to express them with pictures.
