WHAT WE CANNOT SEPARATE — Yura Kim Solo Exhibition

Yura Kim Solo Exhibition
October 2–12, 2026
Tor Road Gallery, Kobe, Japan
Closed October 7
Opening Reception: October 3, 3:00–7:00 PM

What We Cannot Separate explores the shifting and often ambiguous boundaries between humans and nature.

Through new paintings composed of intertwining lines and forms, alongside installation works incorporating human-made objects collected from the seashore, Yura Kim considers how what we leave in nature does not simply disappear, but changes form and becomes entangled with the environments we inhabit.

The exhibition brings together new abstract paintings and installation works, extending Kim’s ongoing exploration of how we perceive, alter, and coexist with the natural world.
